The Journey Begins

A good question.....your safety is always our concern. Firstly always please let us know if you have any injuries before class but general fitness will gradually improve as you progress over time so by starting now your fitness will only improve sooner.

 

Most definately at our full-time karate school with gym for workouts we hold 5:30pm family classes Monday to Friday a very special time indeed, children see parents learning and practice at home. Our training is skill based which of course leads to increased confidence and improved self esteem that parents assist with at home too.

Once your trial lessons have finished and you choose to continue is the best time to purchase one.

Generally there is a minimum twenty lessons between the lower grades with more required at higher grades. Progress is skill based at all levels with various other considerations taken into account. Ageing is not a barrier to success or Black Belt.

Our dojo is most importantly a member of the Japan Karate Association Tokyo, the largest single style karate organisation in the world. We are also members of the Australian Karate Federation along with the South Australian Recreation and Sport, that promotes a once a year school voucher.

JKA Shotokan Karate is most effective in protecting yourself. As with all martial arts learnt skills offer you choices the we hope you will not need to make. Our children also build that inner confidence and self esteem too, which I call Self Defence on the inside.
